About this course

One thing all negotiators have in common is that sooner or later they will have to negotiate with difficult people. Whether it is emotional negotiators, vague proposals or parties that won’t move an inch during the process: they can be really frustrating to deal with.

Luckily we are here to help! We help you to get to the root cause of the difficult behaviour and help you deal with even the toughest negotiators out there. Who knows, you might even start to enjoy these difficult negotiations…


Learning goals

Join us in understanding what makes situations and the people in them difficult, and in knowing how to deal with this. In the course, you’ll be provided with the right skills and tools to bringing interaction with difficult people to a success through:

  • Understanding the underlying dynamics of negotiations and difficult behaviour in negotiators
  • Learning about the impact that power, emotion and pressure can have on a negotiation and knowing how to deal with the issues that may arise
  • Getting useful phrases that help to effectively counter the difficult behaviour in negotiations
  • Levelling up your skills by practicing negotiations with difficult people in our immersive simulation experience
