Maarten van Rossum
Maarten is Head of Strategy and is specialized in:
- Establishing effective dialogues with society and championing an organization’s story with their context
- Strategy and execution of complex negotiations in both the public and private sector
- Guidance in influencing processes
- Engagement strategies of stakeholder and the creation of mutual benefit
Maarten comes from a background of Dutch and International Law. For the first seventeen years of his career, he worked in the public sector: First as a diplomat stationed in locations such as Brussels, Washington D.C. and Afghanistan as well as later as an advisor to the prime minister of the Netherlands. After moving to the private sector as the Global Director of Public Affairs for the HEINEKEN Company, he is now Head of Strategy at &FLUENCE. Together with Tim, he has published the book “Toponderhandelaars” on the value of negotiations in our day-to-day life and is active as a strategic Advisor to the Cambridge Negotiations Institute.
